AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

The aims of this forum are to bring peace, unity, progress, development to Orokam.

To unite all the five clans in our community to bring 21st century change and development to promptly cater for all the five clans in our father land.

To produce good and quality leaders who will be useful in developing this community.

To achieve numerous capital and programmed development projects like pipe borne water,model basic school and other great impactful developments to move the communities into a more developed society of 21st century.

To unite our members at home and diaspora who are not close to the community and those who have lost contact with their indigenous brothers and sisters.

To cater for the unity, progress, growth, stability, peace, cultural, socio-economic and political land scale of these great (OROKAM) communities.

To make sure that Individuals who are far and near from the communities provide information on the activities and situational patterns of communities members that have done or provide a potential progress.

To use the medium to fight against our people who are resorting to selling their lands to non–Idoma people. I want to warn that we are heading for disaster if we keep on planting enemies in our midst or sell what our children should inherit to non- indigenes who will destroy us in future.

Finally, i want to appreciate all other indigenous groups from these communities for prompt and optimal support, following up this golden development created for our community. The forum have created and contributed a great synergy to all other indigenes that are not really close to the community geographically and we should also understand that both OUF, ODA, OYA, OKAMU FORUM and other association are all aiming at a particular goal which is to develop a cultural and socio-economically buoyant community for all.
